Charlotte Hupfield Ceramics, based in Northamptonshire is owned by the lovely Charlotte Hupfield. A very talented ceramic maker who’s passion for flower preservation stemmed from when she got married and feared that the wedding bouquet wouldn’t last. Charlotte loves all things in the natural world and giving back to nature, including donating to the Greener Earth Project and providing wild meadows seeds with purchases to help save our bees. She already had a ceramic business and this is where the new business focus started to blossom.

Although Charlotte had a logo, website and posted daily on social media, her ambitions were to grow, to be more confident, she wanted to look more professional and consistent in her marketing. So it was a total pleasure to work with Charlotte to give her more confidence, to create a new vision and purpose for her brand to take forward. Creating a new brand identity as well as brand photoshoot so that she had her own set of stock images to show off her lovely business and the beautiful ceramic pieces she made.

After the initial brand clarity process, I had a vision for the brand. The brand values were clear: nature, artisan, environment and nostalgia. The feeling is rustic, tactile, earthy tones. The emotion was nostalgic stories, cherishing memories, being loved, keepsakes, joy and happiness, pride in repurposing flowers. The photography was warm, earthy, rustic and heart warming. The logo itself has a delicate cow parsley and eucalyptus for a hint of nature and rugged circle stamp style to give it the artisan, tactile feel. The colour scheme is shades of natures, earthy clay and warm floral pinks and blues to bring it all together across the brand identity.
